2021 Workshops
BareHands Artisans Workshops are drop-in style, go with the flow, creative outlets. Subject matters vary from Art and Health and new offerings are added regularly to keep you on your toes. We add new workshops monthly as an easy way to gather and create with friends or take time for yourself just for the fun of it.
We are trusting each person who registers for our Classes and Workshops that you have been symptom free and have not tested positive for or been exposed to Covid-19. No make-up or refunds on Classes/Workshops.
On December 30, 2021, BareHands Artisans will be closing our Belmar, NJ storefront/“Gather & Create” Studio location. The BHA Brand will be making a shift of focus away from Classes/Workshops (the in-person continued education aspect of the present studio) towards solely the making of Art.
We will be moving to a new studio space in 2022 that will support this natural progression of BareHands Pottery. Our New location will be streamlined for production to be available in the future as batch releases exclusively online, as well as online Custom Orders & Wholesale offerings of our handmade BareHands Pottery. We will be forever grateful for your energy, understanding, and continuing support of this next phase.
Important to note (without writing a novel)* Your passion and dedication as a collective Art community has been humbling and beautiful.

In the meantime, our Belmar doors and website remain OPEN throughout December, featuring BHA Pottery + curated handmade products that we LOVE.
It brings me such joy that these handmade items are loved and appreciated and utilized in your homes :)

Hand-Built Clay Sushi Set

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:
Whether you are sushi lovers or not, this useful functional pottery project is sure to motivate you to serve some delish dish on your handmade pottery items. Each person enrolled will make a set of “Sushi inspired” table ware (2 small dishes) and two small dipping bowls. There will be creativity at play while design, technique , shape, and overall style will be explored. Your Sushi dishes will be unique to you. This will be a fun experience with Clay and can be a perfect night with friends, solo or a date night… read more
Saturday Night Hand-Built Mug Workshop

Make it and glaze it; this two-part workshop favorite is back! You will make a set of mugs with your own style from scratch and will be given creative options to do so. This is a 2 hour Saturday night class followed by another in 2 weeks (the Saturdays are staggered to give clay time for drying and firing)… read more
