This includes a demo night of a fun highlighted topics relating to food that you can also recreate in your own kitchen to compliment your new homemade pottery!
Our first series will be a 4 week course, “Mediterranean Kitchen.” Each student will create a cheese plate/serving board, olive oil/spice dipping bowls, grater plate, and a serving utensil holder for their counter that reflects their own personal style. In a fun atmosphere suitable for beginners and the experienced potter, fundamentals of hand-building will be taught to create our goals but individual expression will show. This series demo night will be how to make fresh mozzarella from local former chef of “Giamano’s Ristorante.” There will also be an olive oil tasting and how to create the perfect dipping oil that evening. This workshop is truly the gift that keeps giving. Not only does it switch things up in your schedule involving multiple satisfying experiences, there will be skills acquired: design, creativity, working with clay and a new recipe. Buon Appetito!
