Kokedama Plant Art
Dates: Thursday 6/27/2019
INSTRUCTOR: BROOKE MILANOAGE
AGE: ADULTS & TEENS
Join us for this feel good 1.5 hr workshop where you will make 2 different sized Kokedama plant art creations and have a great time doing it!
Kokedama is a form of Japanese bonsai, in which the roots of a plant are covered with soil and wrapped in moss and twine. It's a most beautifully unusual way to "pot" a plant, without actually using a pot. We like to call it living art. You can hang these green beauties to create a hanging string garden, or simply place them atop your favorite piece of pottery. Kokedama are very fun to make, and they require absolutely no plant experience! It will be an enjoyable experience picking from different varieties of plants to make two different sizes to compliment each other and change up the interior space of where they will be hung ( also could make a great gift!) We consider these absolute home vibe changers brining a new feel to any space displayed. We love it!
We encourage you to bring a beverage and bond with some fellow plant admirers while digging your hands in dirt... whether it be an evening out with your gals, or a date night! Food and beverage welcomed and encouraged.
