SKILL LEVEL: BEGINNER OR EXPERIENCED
After such positive feedback we are expanding our 2-part workshops starting with this tripod planter workshop.
Each student will be making a total of two tripod planters; one mini, perfect for a warm up with clay, and one bigger one. Both special and will have their purpose once they are adorned with living starter succulents and other special plants as you wish. This workshop will be teaching great fundamentals of hand-building while creating these not your average tripod planters. Opportunity to embellish and create unique textures using studio tools will help shape this to be a special clay experience. After the first nights workshop is complete the studio will monitor then low fire the two planters to be ready for the second part in 2 weeks.
On Monday, 3/25/2019, the student will be applying the glaze of their choice to each planter with encouragement and suggestions. This 2-part workshop is great exposure of the glazing process and the results are always surprising and thrilling.
Food and beverage welcomed.
